Our 4-step inspection protocol
From document preparation to final certificate issuance: a rigorous process compliant with UNCTAD and IMO standards.
Preparation & document review
Reception of mission order, review of documents (B/L, manifest, charter party, technical data sheets), preparation of measurement equipment (gauges, probes, samplers). Prior coordination with maritime agent and port authorities.
On-board inspection & measurements
Boarding, visual inspection of holds and hatches, draft survey (before/after measurements), ballast sounding, representative sampling. Time-stamped photographs of cargo and equipment conditions.
Operations supervision
Continuous monitoring of loading or unloading operations. Quantity control, sequencing verification, immediate intervention upon anomaly. Coordination with the captain, stevedores and customs authorities.
Final report & certificates
Drafting of the detailed inspection report including photos, measurements, observations and recommendations. Issuance of official certificates (quantity, quality, gas-free, phytosanitary). Transmission within 24h to relevant parties and 5-year archival.
